Wednesday 3rd of April we have our season launch at Springfield Pavilion kicking off at 7pm !

Pizzas will be supplied and drinks will be at bar prices. We will also be announcing our no.1 ticket holder for season 2024 !

It's the Night of Nights for the EFL Umpires - The Last Bounce!
We will be celebrating the 2019 Season with the announcement of Grand Final Umpire Appointments, EFLUA and EFL awards, and Hall of Fame Inductions.
This is always a highlight of the EFLUA Social Calendar and we look forward to another memorable night shared with friends and family!

The EFL, the EFLUA and the Junior Umpire Coaching Team would like to invite you to the 2019 Junior Grand Final Appointments Evening.

This is a compulsory event for all junior umpires, who are expected to attend in their off-field uniform.

All senior umpires, junior parents & families are encouraged to attend as we announce the appointments of umpires of the EFL junior boys and ERGFL girl’s & women’s grand final umpire panels.

Another feature of the evening will be the presentation of our 2019 junior umpire awards, highlighted by the announcement of the EFL Junior Umpire of the Year.

Refreshments will be provided through your membership fee to the EFLUA and we encourage all umpires to join our association.

We look forward to seeing you for a exciting night before a huge Grand Final day.

As we hit the home stretch of the season, we are hosting our last themed night for the year!

Put on your favourite sporting team colours on the track this Wednesday night from 5:30PM. Jerseys, beanies, socks, colours etc. Prizes available for the best dressed!

Following training at 6:30PM, y'all invited to our American sports themed dinner! Be knocked out the park with complimentary mini hotdogs and American nachos available for members. Burgers and fries will also be for sale from Kim’s Diner for $10! Budweiser beers will be stocked for the night!

So as the home and away season goes down to the wire, come and have one last slam dunk in the rooms before the 2019 finals series!

This round celebrates the friendships that have been made at the EFL Umpires Association.

Running umpires will be appointed with their mate and get to run a game together during the day. We are then encouraging umpires to bring their mate back to our clubrooms to celebrate all together. It will be a night to recognise the many friendships that have started from umpiring in the EFL. Umpires old and new are encouraged to attend!

At the clubrooms, we will be running an iPod shuffle night. Purchase a song and depending when it plays, you might win a prize! The final song that plays on the night will win a cash prize (Amount: TBA + Bonus $ for being in attendance).
Songs will be available to purchase from 26/6/2019.

Light nibbles will be available for members, with drinks available at bar prices.

Hosted by Quizzame Australia this Trivia Competition is run with just buzzers; no pen and paper required! There will be lots of great prizes, raffles, auction items and more!

Dolce Vita! It's the EFLUA's first themed dinner night for 2019! Al dente Pasta Party!

Come eat, drink and be merry whilst partaking in some Italian inspired games. There will be a range of prizes and raffles on offer.

Back by popular demand- it's the Autumn edition of our Sports Carnival Night!

Sports, music, prizes, a BBQ, snacks, raffles and more; it's a night not to miss!

Combining Junior and Senior Field, Boundary and Goal Umpires; we will have a series of games, as well as exercise and activity stations to get moving and most importantly - working as a team! There will be a range of activities for all abilities. We ask that you please wear your new training tops on the night.

Stations will be run by these superstars; Mark Corrie, Dan Beard, PVP, Hugh Tevelein, Tino Tabacchiera and Luke McIlroy.

We will be welcoming back the following AFL Umpires to our club as part of Community Umpiring Week: Sam Walsh (Goal), Ben MacDonald (Boundary), Andrew Mitchell (Field) and Chris Appleton (Goal).

Following the games we will be providing a MEMBERS ONLY BBQ, and soup will also be available, free of charge, for members. (PLEASE BRING YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD)

After dinner, the games will continue with carpet bowls, bocce, FIFA, Jenga, UNO and more!

There are some exciting raffle prizes up for grabs so please consider purchasing some of these on the night.

Please meet at our clubrooms in Springfield Hall and bring suitable footwear to move on and around the gridiron field. We are looking forward to an enthusiastic training night of fun at our clubrooms. This is a FREE event and we would love to see you there getting involved and supporting each other and your Association!
