The Eastern Football League Umpires Association

Welcome to the website of the Eastern Football League Umpires Association (EFLUA). We hope that this site is the hub for everything umpiring in the EFNL.

The EFLUA is the association for all umpires who officiate in the Eastern Football Netball League at both Senior and Junior Level, as well as our supporters. We aim to provide a club where all of our umpires feel welcome and feel they have every opportunity to succeed. As your Association we run a huge social calendar that aims to involve our members and community in an inclusive and fun environment where great memories are shared amongst friends, old and new. On Wednesday night’s we run the rooms at Springfield Hall, providing meals and drinks after each training session. We provide member advocacy and regularly liaise with the Eastern Football League to make sure our members needs and concerns are met. As a community we regularly run fundraisers for charitable organisations.

Recognising our past is always important to us, and in 2018 we hosted our 50 Year Gala Dinner where over 300 attendees shared their memories of 50 years of Umpiring within the EDFL/EFL. We hope to still connect with our Life Member’s who have all made such a significant impact on our Association - if you are one of these and we have lost touch with you please contact us, we’d love to hear from you! In addition to Life Membership, 2014 saw the introduction of the EFLUA Hall of Fame to recognise those members who have shown exemplary commitment to progressing our Association.
