'Vale' Noel Maxwell

The Eastern Football League Umpires Association along with the EFNL community is saddened by the news of the passing of Noel Maxwell after a long illness.

Not only was Noel a Life Member of the EFLUA, he was also awarded Hall of Fame status and elevated into legend Status. A yearly award is named in his honour that recognises a field umpire’s contribution on and off field to their craft and their dedication to the club. The EFLUA acknowledges his services over the years, his significant contribution to umpiring and his legacy that will live on into the future.

The EFLUA passes on their condolences to the family and friends of Noel Maxwell.

Grant Noel Eternal Rest, O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he Rest in Peace.
